Yevgeny Simkin started life in Soviet Russia and then when he’d had just about enough of being called racist epithets (also he was seven so he didn’t have much choice in the matter) he came to New York City.

After a couple of decades of being an unprofessional musician and comedian - all while being fired from just about every restaurant and bar in Manhattan - he learned how to code (it’s really not very hard - people who tell you it’s hard are lying).

TL;DR about 10 years later he started his own consulting business which initially employed US based engineers but around 2016, by dint of some truly magical serendipity, Yevgeny was able to parlay his fluency in Russian into hiring a few extremely talented devs based in Russia and Ukraine.

Now, 6 years later, that number has grown to about 25 and A-flat minor (which as some will tell you was whimsically called The Russian Mob until Feb 24th 2022') is coding up a storm under Yevgeny’s frequently whimsical oversight.
